Brendan Reilly

Brendan Reilly is the CEO and Co-Founder of EON Sports VR.  A former student assistant for Bill Self at the University of Kansas, he went on to work as a administrative assistant for Tim Jankovich at Illinois State’s Men’s Basketball team. While on staff at ISU, the idea of Virtual Reality sports training entered into his mind. While working out of the proverbial garage for about a year, he refined what the ideal Virtual Reality training program would look like and with no formal business or computer science background, he was able to convince the executives at one of the world’s leading providers of Virtual and Augmented Reality, EON Reality, to join forces with him.

Joining EON Reality in 2011 in a business development role, it took another two years before EON Sports become a reality. Signing their first client with the University of Kansas, EON Sports VR officially formed in August of 2013. A year and a half from starting, EON Sports VR has sold its powerful simulation software to football teams in the NFL, SEC, ACC, Pac 12, Big 12, and MAC conferences, as well as Division 2 teams, hundreds of youth, and high school football programs. The company has also recently developed a simulator that can be powered by the smartphone, and currently works with hundreds of football players nationwide as part of their daily training regimen. Additionally, EON Sports is currently in development with an MLB team to create a baseball simulator, expected to release December 2015.

Brendan has worked in the Virtual and Augmented Reality market since joining EON Reality in 2011 and is now recognized as one of the leaders in not only innovative sports training, but Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality industries. He has spoken to audiences in South America, Middle East, Europe North America and Asia about Virtual Reality and the future of sports training, and has been featured in ESPN, Fortune Magazine, Forbes Magazine, USA Today, CBS, MSN, Yahoo, and many other media outlets.
